Details
  Print Pooling (Auto Direction) provides the added reliability that busy offices and workgroups require. If your lead printer becomes unavailable, Print Pooling automatically routes your job to the next available printer —so your job gets finished. Plus, EZ Cluster notifies you where to pick up your job —so you don ’twaste any time.

Smart Load-Balanced Document Splitting is ideal for lengthy jobs, and separates a single document among a cluster of printers in proportion to engine speed —so the job prints faster.

Smart Load-Balanced Copy Splitting is useful hen you need to print a large number of sets.  It intelligently splits the job among a group of printers in the cluster in proportion to engine speed — so your workflow keeps moving.  With Smart Load-Balancing, efficiency is automatically built-in!

For added efficiency, EZ Cluster automatically verifies printer status and availability before sending a job.  It can determine if the necessary finishing options are installed on selected printers and provide the option to redistribute jobs as necessary — thereby minimizing printing conflicts and saving valuable time.

And, EZ Cluster is easy-to-use.  The Create Cluster Wizard walks you through the steps to create a cluster, making set-up a breeze. And, with EZ Cluster Manager, adding, modifying or deleting clusters is simple.

IPX: full functionality requires that printers/MFP be assigned an IP address. This enables EZ Cluster® to discover printer states. Without an assigned IP address, then some features will not be available (including load balancing and error recovery).

Note that other requirements, such as hardware requirements, are subsumed under the OS requirements.

3 NOTE Microsoft SNMP is not automatically installed with Windows NT, the service must be added manually. During installation, Callisto will check that SNMP, and service pack 3 or greater, are installed.
