Looking to the near future, industry analysts predict that by the year 2007, monochrome laser MFP sales in the 14-20 ppm segment will top 680,000 units – that’s a 15% CAGR for the period 2001-2007.

Additionally, during the same period unit sales of the 1-13 ppm segment are expected to drop 37% over the same period, being replaced by more robust 14- 20 ppm models (chart on next page).
